

In a significant leap for smartphone battery technology, Realme has introduced a concept phone equipped with an unprecedented 15,000mAh battery. Despite its massive capacity, the device maintains a slim profile of just 8.89mm in thickness, challenging conventional expectations of bulky battery phones.

ToggleWith this clever battery, the phone can go up to four days of normal use on a single charge. The device can play videos for about 50 hours, play games for 30 hours, or stay powered off for up to three months while in flight mode. The gadget can also be charged from the opposite direction, which means it can power other things like drones or small refrigerators.

A MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip powers the concept smartphone, which also has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of hard drive space. It has a 6.7-inch screen and strikes a good mix between performance and power efficiency.

The 15,000mAh battery has a lot of silicon in it, which makes the energy efficiency higher. The device is still just an idea at this point, though, because this high-tech stuff isn’t ready for mass production yet. Realme hasn’t said when this model will be available in stores, but they have shown off a 10,000mAh idea phone that is closer to being mass-produced.
The concept phone shows that Realme wants to push the limits of smartphone technology, but it’s still unclear when these new features will be offered to regular customers.
